The Ministry of National Education announced that the allegations that the question booklets of the verbal section of the central exam within the scope of the Transition to High School System were shared before the exam was over were unfounded.
The Ministry of National Education (MEB) stated that the allegations that “the question booklets of the verbal section of the central exam within the scope of the Transition to High Schools System ( Lgs ) were shared before the exam ended” were unfounded, and said, “It is obvious that the sharing time in the visuals included in the news is 11.57, and that this will not create a situation that will negatively affect the first session exam of the verbal section, which ends at 10.45.”
DENIAL OF CLAIMS THAT “QUESTION BOOKLETS WERE SHARED BEFORE THE EXAM WAS OVER”
In a statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that there were allegations in some press and social media platforms that “the question booklets of the verbal section of the central exam within the scope of LGS held on June 15, 2025 were shared before the exam was over and that this situation damaged the exam security.”
In the statement, it was emphasized that these allegations were unfounded and it was reminded that the central exam within the scope of LGS was applied in two sessions, and the verbal field session started at 09.30 and ended at 10.45.
It was noted in the statement that after the completion of the oral session, the hall attendance lists and answer sheets were placed in non-returnable envelopes and placed in exam boxes with special serial numbered locks. It was reported that after the completion of this session, the second session, the numerical field exam, started at 11.30 and ended at 12.50 with all security measures applied in the same way by the officials.
“THERE IS NO NEGATIVE EVENT”
The statement, which conveyed that the question booklets were left in schools for students or parents to take if they wanted, said: “Therefore, it is obvious that the sharing time in the visuals included in the news is 11.57 and that this will not create a situation that will negatively affect the first session exam of the oral field that ended at 10.45. There is no negativity that will cast a shadow on the security of the central exam within the scope of LGS, which was meticulously carried out in our schools on June 15. It is important not to believe such news that manipulates the society with lies, mistakes and fabrications and causes concern to the families of our students.”
